Westbourne and Southbourne are decent spots. The latter has definitely improved over recent years. Leave the town centre to the clowns. Bournemouth in the late 90s and early 2000s was brilliant. Just another casualty nowadays

I did the odd night, depending on who was playing. The Manor and Maison @ The Showbar were the defining nights for me.

I was a few years too late to get into Madisons. The family household was on the same road as The Manor (KLANG) so that was my sanctuary from 1997 onwards

alistair was alright. The Manor was the best club in the area, with The Academy/Opera House a decent second option.

I never went but that was in my decorating my room with flyers stage I am sure we all went through, and there were about 5 clubs who basically had the exact same lineup interchanged week after week:

I once stayed at the Priory Bay Hotel as a nipper with the family - must say it was delightful.
