gcw I don’t really remember the live percussion, but that’s probably because I was absolutely off my nut every time I went to Cream.

What’s really shocking, looking back, was the 9pm-3am times, I mean who wants to get on the dancefloor before 11 really?

Early 90’s was Sudha & Shovell if I remember right. Definitely remember them being there. They didn’t play constantly through the night, just kind of interjected every now and then.

Were dece, but not essential, very much an ‘of the time’ type thing.

My mate was a bouncer at Cream back then. Apparently Mav used to get about £200 a night. Bleasedale only got £500 apparently too. Was a fucking brilliant warm up DJ
