  • Who was the last DJ you saw live before lockdown?

mono-stereo

Given the state of what Slam/Soma are putting out these days, apparently not.

Absolute racket are Slam.

Eric Prydz at Printworks at the end of Feb. Superb

Smallman1 Yes, the timings and location suit this elderly clubber. Went there a few times in the last year. The Bugged out 25 night with Dusky, Erol Alkan 2 Many DJs and Green Velvet was the best of them

Lord sabre in belfast in Oct for me. If only i knew what lay ahead for the poor man i would have given him a hug on the way out.

Saw the man four times, including his first ever set in the US. All four totally different genre-wise, smashed the room every time. He was an unreal DJ.

Yotto & Joris Voorn in Helsinki, or Michael Mayer (also in Helsinki). They were weekend after the other in February, but can’t remember which weekend was the last.

Smallman1 Or, indeed, spending a few hours with you and your braying mates in a 5,000 capacity club in fucking Docklands lol

Amps Good prog. Voorn after him was dull although better than I expected.

Homegrove That would have probably been my guess, but I do like both of them.

That would be Voorns productions… not that keen on his mixes…

        Phats of Phats and Smalls.

Must have inspired me, as I’ve gotten phat as fuck during lockdown
