I thought the first season was dreadful. Piss poor acting didn’t help the cause.

    Phil-McRackin yep one of those were you know it’s not great but entertaining all the same. Will give season 2 a go.

      I liked the first episode of The Peripheral.

      I like watching my Saturday morning TV like how I like listening to my wrecking ball prog, LIVE.

      Currently being forced to watch all six hundred episodes of The Handmaids Tale 🙄

            alistair to be honest it’s pretty good in parts. and pretty bad in parts.

                C_J Had the missus and I hooked for the first two seasons, but then it felt a bit too purposely masochistic watching it. Wondering if should catch up… but right now it’s in the swerve category.

                        Christian Yeah, thought so too. Liked how they went with the last two.

                        I did think Aemond saying, “no vhagar no vhagar” felt a bit forced, to give his character some layers. He obviously wanted blood.

                                Homegrove Good moves, the books are shoddy, written mostly for HBO suits. It’s just one big massive spoiler for the show.

                                  Hursty S1 ok. Had an accidental Bronson night tonight, and watched most of S2. Really enjoyed it. Some of its a bit hammy, but the majority is fine. The story is fun - exciting and twisty. Easy entertainment.

                                    Just watched S1 of The Capture, how did I miss this? Absolutely brilliant, now onto S2

                                        I’m not violent man, but sat here while the Mrs watches Strictly….Tess Daly makes me want to kill.

                                          Hursty I didn’t used to mind Claudia but her ‘shtick ’ is pretty grating now. Although Tess makes her seem like George Carlin.

                                            Season 3 of Barry is so dark, really well done.

                                            RIP Westworld. Thankfully the last season ended so that it was a satisfactory ending. A lot of people thought it sucked after the first season, but I liked all of it.

                                              Homegrove it started really really well. But that second season just killed the vibe so much I thought Hugo had written it.

                                                        RichM yeah they were way better early on eh…. the album with 505 on it - great stuff. I won tickets to see them at the I-festival at the Roundhouse… think it was 2006-ish… incredible gig. Alex Turner has disappeared up his own arse sadly.
