Last Night in Soho (2021). Well that was disappointing. Some amazing sequences, but a terrible script. Anya Taylor Joy was mesmerizing though, and Terence Stamp can still do scary in his dreams.

Afraid: Watched this mostly because I’m on gardening leave with too much time on my hands and have been going to the cinema once a week. And my wife is obsessed with ChatGPT (sometimes even referring to it as her friend :/). Starts kinda promisingly, but then divulges into what is obviously a shitty money grab with the whole AI label. This is a piece of shit movie. 2 / 10

Oblivion (2013)

I genuinely had never heard of this film at all, which is strange as Wiki tells me it was a boz office success and Tom Cruise usually promotes the hell out of all his films.

The first part was better than the second part . The story is a decent premise, the post apocalyptic world was very well done as well . It just went a bit Hollywood in the second part.

gcw that movie looks and sounds (M83 soundtrack) so good that I am willing to forgive a lot of it’s problems. Same director who later did Top Gun Maverick.

Smile(2022)

Me and the missus loved this. Perfect balance of goofy and disturbing. Good Saturday night fun. The most successful movie in terms of ROI since The Purge (2013)
