C_J I’m still using an old plasma, a Panasonic from 2011. It did cost 4K back then though, but it still works perfect. Picture quality is awesome, and it also works as a stove in the winter. When it finally dies I plan on probably buying a Hisense. So not going high end.
I know my shit because I’ve done a ton of research in preparation already. If I’d be willing to pay a lot I’d get a Sony A95L. Hisense U8K seems to be the best budget TV for movies according to my research.
