…do they really need a downhill section for a sprint finish? They go fast enough anyway, seems unnecessarily dangerous to me

Sprint stages are boring as fuck - why would you race for 5 hours just for the sprint at the end? Don’t get it. Climbers just use those stages as rest days.

Terrible riding caused that

Jumbo Visma look incredible in the Critérium du Dauphiné. Ineos looked to have buried everyone with their pace on the front yesterday, but they seemed to only fuck their own own team (Froome is finished) - Roglic broke them all and just eased away.

They’ll win the TdF and I’d love it if Roglic or Dumoulin won it.

A few big crashes today, sounded like some poor roads have been selected for racing.

shame for Remco, what a star he is going to be!

Crashed today training. A thick doris not looking up crashed into me when I’d stopped (the previous two riders passed me without any bother). Fucked my rear wheel and gave me a dead leg and hurt the back of my knee. Will compromise my race tomorrow for definite.

Was that the guy that went over that bridge? Lucky with just a broken pelvis

Hursty She blamed me, the stupid cunt. Funnily enough, neither her nor anyone in the group have uploaded to Strava - they aren’t on Flybyes. Gonna cost me at the very least a couple hundred quid.

Along_the_Wire Gutted, what a numpty riding into you.

I think you can disable flybys anyway, I know I used to do it.

I reckon he smashed it and is to modest to say.

Mad_Cyril Third. Tough course - 25 miles in 55:16 - wet, flooded patches and a ton of roadworks on a lumpy course - not my best 25 time, but happy with that. I’m more of a 10 mile specialist an all.

Dead leg recovered overnight and was just uncomfortable - didn’t affect things
