A 9 hour documentary on Prince was was due to be released on Netflix but has now been pulled by the Prince estate. Shame as I reckon that would have been great.

RichM that’s a shame. I wonder why it got pulled? He wasn’t a beast was he?

Millsy from what I can gather they want to do their own documentary, which probably means they didn’t like some of what was in the Netflix one.

        Shrouded in Controversy no doubt

RichM which means 9 hours wasn’t enough for Netflix, it should be 18 HOURS

This tale should always feature in any respectable Prince docco.

LT42 tbf I would happily watch 18 hours of a documentary on him. I was absolutely gutted when he passed away, was a massive fan.

Regret not seeing Prince live but I didn’t think he was going to cark it so soon.

Seen him three times - brilliant stuff. Went to Paisley Park when I went on a trip to Chicago/Minneapolis a few years ago - that was amazing, I have to say.

RichM Me too. He might be the most talented musician we’ll ever see.

Prince could legitmately play upwards of 30 different instruments. Can you imagine the ridin he was doing.

He couldn’t make a decent prog track if his life depended on it though.

              It’s a funny old game.

One of the great creative streaks up to and including Sign of the Times. Subsequent albums patchy at best. He even gave one away free with the Mail on Sunday

He got a fortune for that.

Along_the_Wire Forgot that was after Sign of the times. Up until that point then. Eye No to Alphabet Street 👌

Followed the gabby petito case in real time, guess you could say her family did a good job with the awareness if some random dude in Bangalore kept getting served news items and YouTube videos of all the drama.

Not such a bad true crime Netflix doc. Kinda sad, but hard to have sympathy for gen z fucks.

Been a long time coming…filmed in 2021, not still sure why it’s taken this long but Gareth Evans directed so should be good.

Annihilation, probably the best Netflix original movie ever, is leaving the service in ten days on March 12th. Now is the time to watch it if you haven’t before. I myself have watched it three times by my count. 😀

The bear scene is super chill.
