Dave Seaman’s vinyl for sale
Seaman gets bad press on here and I’m not at all into his sound these days but in his pomp he was great at what he did. Him playing the last few hours at The Cross on a summer night, for example. Masterclasses. His Renaissance London disc was superb too,
I always quite liked him as a dj, and it was always better when he played a long set as he’d throw in more house and garage (of the Kerri Chandler, not Craig David variety) rather than just BSPF.
I’d rather continue in lockdown than be subjected to another Dave Seaman set.
His Renaissance Engage set last year was superb
Not prepared to pay for it.
elrobertos Ed missed those years…he was into Billy Joel at the time.
Agreed. Saw him a few times and, yes, it might’ve been Prog by numbers but it was fine for a night out.
Working class prog.
Dave Seaman absolutely nailed it on my 30th at The Gallery in 2000. Seen him a couple of times since and there’s definitely a stench of bspf off him then

Along_the_Wire Loved him and Warren at the Gallery. Dave has made a handful of timeless mix cds.
elrobertos Agreed mate, those mid to late 90s Renaissance nights at the Cross were something special.

People are quick to forget how good those Brothers in Rhythm productions were.
BERK in the day I didn’t mind his Mighty Ming stuff.
We should crowd source the entire lot. Have Damo and Hannu do a retrospective.
jonattonyeah over see the whole thing, keep everything above board, we can’t let Ed have money resting in his account again
