Marauder I’m already enjoying this, only 15 minutes in. Hadn’t heard it before.

They deserve their accolades as legends, yes they’ve put out a few pop records and a lot of shite, but so what? The same could be said of Chemical Brothers.

In both cases, their decent output more than makes up for it.

J5 might sound dated today but they were a welcomed break from the misery of NYC’s hip hop and much of LA’s rap being obsessed with how many people they’d like to murder.

Went to a big warehouse party back in around 1998-99. Main (massive) room was Jurassic 5, Invisbl Scratch Picklz, Deltron 3030, DJ Hurricane and a few other underground types I can’t remember. Proper good time. Don’t think I left the room or heard a House track all night.

People hate Skrillex so much. I don’t get it. His music is the worst stuff I think I’ve ever heard. But he seems like a sound dude just doing the music he, and others, enjoy. Don’t like it, don’t listen to it. Not hard. I’m not going to bemoan some dude for doing his thing, making some coin, and enjoying himself.
