Amps pretty up north was my point. Re infrastructure.

Homegrove Yeah, the main argument for Northern and Southern cities is that the elements become an issue, or for anywhere that isn’t flat, the hills become an issue. But it’s mostly bollocks. Plenty of people cycle in cold climates and plenty of people cycle in mountainous areas. The Swiss fuckin love a push bike.

And it works the other way too, there are lots of flat places with mild climates where nobody cycles because the infrastructure is all car orientated.

Good on the Oulu civic crew for getting their shit together 👍

Amps cyclists here are jealous of cyclists in Oulu. Turku is still a very car centric-city. The center is nearly impossible to cycle through.

Homegrove No real excuses in a city like Turku, you have big wide streets you can adapt, you’re not dealing with an old medieval layouts and buildings that you can’t get around.

Schiphol airport say they are banning private jets, which is a start.

Will they ban E scooters in Holland though?

They can’t even stand to see you return a fuckin bottle. They must make the maximum amount of profit at all costs.

Love the idea of bottle deposit scheme, works really well in other countries. Hopefully it will eventually come into existence

We’ve perfected it. I can’t understand how hard it is for other countries to do it.

We had in the UK many years ago. I think it ended in the 70’s or early 80’s

They have one in Croatia, seems to work really well. You pick up a crate at the shop, as in a proper plastic crate and pop the empties in when finished

It had to cut down on littering at the very least

          Dubman

I vaguely remember one in the early 80s in our local shops, although that was more than likely to try and stop the UDA filling them with petrol and throwing them at catholic houses!

            Lol.
Probably went out fashion as the rise in plastic bottles & cartons hit the market.

              No flies on you, Dubbers!

Amps fall off has been spectacular. If he was a DJ he would be Jeremy Healy. From much loved to absolutely detested and derided ginger bastard in the space of about two years.

bosstrabs Would pay to have Healy’s hair line. Not so much his clobber.
