LT42 Why is there import fees on an item shipping to Ireland from Amazon Uk and there isn’t on the German site? Are there any actual Brexit experts on here who can handle these tough questions?
As I already stated, it would be helpful if you could give us the country of origin of the goods and the actual good (some are duty exempt, and some are duty exempt up to a certain value).
Don’t have the info, Dave, as it’s not me. I suppose the only difference would be if the product was from the UK, which would still mean the deal Hursty is on about is a load of bollox.
Either way, I can’t find an explanation, other than maybe Amazon crediting back those fees if indeed that “deal” is intact. I’m sure there’ll be more anomalies like this over the next few months that will need to be discussed in here, if that’s OK, Dave?
