Smallman1 Looked at the recent horror shows in the trabs thread and came to the dreadful realisation that his, were still, the worst out of the most horrific of bunches.
jonattonyeah Smallman1 LOL yeah Ed I can see it being Marmite. It’s very California (moreso SoCal). I’d guess much of the subtle humor is lost if you’re not familiar with LA and all its fantastic horribleness. And anyone who grew up with “Karate Kid” can’t help but feel nostalgia. Only a few episodes in but I’ve enjoyed it.
mono-stereo jonattonyeah I’d guess much of the subtle humor is lost if you’re not familiar with LA and all its fantastic horribleness Not being from LA myself, interested in what you mean by this? I find Johnny Lawrence really funny in it. Fun TV.
Jules72 Along_the_Wire haha yeah fair enough… Mourinho actually comes across as a fairly sophisticated coach and strong motivator… even likeable as does Levy - they’ve used this series really well to boost their own image
Along_the_Wire Is the Man City one much cop? I’ve watched the NFL ones which I’ve enjoyed quite a lot.
mono-stereo Watched “Sour Grapes” last night. Doc about a young lad who conned so called “wine investors” out of millions of dollars. 😆 Most entertaining. If ever there was a victimless crime, this was it.
