Mad_Cyril Wally Most boss. Been looking forward too, though little worried it’s run it’s course already.
jonattonyeah Smallman1 Parts Unknown Bourdain is the only celeb death that I can think of that actually bothered me. Seemed like he had figured it out after many years of personal turmoil. But I guess he hadn’t. Shame. I guess Kobe Bryant’s death, too. Just ’cause I’ve been a basketball nut since I was a kid and I don’t remember a time as a sports fan where Kobe wasn’t a part of it.
Smallman1 Didn’t have time for tv before lockdown Dave. Too busy absolutely ledging it in the world’s finest discothecas.
jonattonyeah Dubman The Last Days of American Crime That movie sucks. Shame as the premise had promise.

Seems like a troubled man. Can see it on the show.
303abuser jonattonyeah bourdain seemed like a genuinely good guy too, just couldn’t get passed his demons.
jonattonyeah 303abuser He visited a couple of spots some friends worked at in San Francisco (Comstock and Alembic being two off the top of my head). When the cameras weren’t on, they said he was more interested in shooting the shit with the bartenders, the back of the house line cooks, the food runners, over owners or investor-types. Had a genuine appreciation for the grind of the work more-so than the fancy outcome. Said he came across as just a genuine, curious dude who had a way with words.
Kells77 jonattonyeah I always wished I was friends with that guy for that very reason…he just seemed like a down to earth dude, with a wicked sense of humor and kitchen skillz.
Mad_Cyril Enjoyed Borderlands, all three series. Scandi detective fare based in Finland. Didnt spot Hannu in the background though 😕
303abuser Wally i need to pick that show up again, i’ve completely forgotten what happened in season one.
bosstrabs Dubman The problem with Breaking Bad is Jesse Pinkman became such a detestable little scrote I just wanted him to be whacked every episode. Walter White was also a prick who I no longer rooted for. The two best characters from Breaking Bad ended up in the spin-off, which I actually prefer.
303abuser Dubman haha totally fair. i still wish better call saul had worked into an overlapping timeline with breaking bad.
-si- Suburra was excellent! Just finished second series. Trying to get the missus to watch BB, she didnt first time around. Any reason why you started at S3, DM? Tossing a coin between the sinner or dark for me next…
Dubman -si- It’s only because I’ve seen quite a few times already plus the fact it starts to get really good after the third season. I watched the 3rd of the sinner last weekend. It’s still good but not as good the previous two.
