Smallman1 The star of The Gallery at Turnmills was Steve Lee.

Brilliant Dj.

Best DJs I remember seeing at Gurnmills were Jon Carter (Heavenly Jukebox night around 98-99) and Tom Stephan doing his Superchumbo stuff in the back room (Think it was a ‘Gallery’ night).

    Neil Tennant’s ex.

    Tru fax.

Smallman1 good dj but the atmosphere was always a several notches higher when Paul came on.

Smallman1 Too many bug eyed weirdos left by the time Steve came on at 6. Must have missed you

Come to think of it, there were always a few people with their tops off around that time.

Anyone knocking about with a distended Gregory?

bosstrabs Nick Warren was always good. Remember seeing Seaman, Oakie, Rampling, Holden, Hernan, Zabiela, Desyn, John Graham and Parks & Wilson. Did enjoy PvD’s appearances when he blew up and there was a four hour Gabriel & Dresden set which was top notch. Great memories and yes, I did like Tall Paul. Only place you would see him drop a track like Bells of New York or Circus Bells.

The Discocaine mix of “Been A Long Time” is a banger, too. Really enjoyed these two discs. My mum bought it for me (probably in Rhyl) and brought it back to the States as a pressy. Was on heavy rotation.

alistair I went there often and played there the same night at Marcus Schultz and it was fucking rammed. I had no idea who he was…LOL
