English Cuisine
Know what I’m making for dinner.
Looks like English is back on the menu boys!
The pasties look appropriately dry for his tastes.
Haha durrrr………
Spasties.
Poor zacko’s head has finally gone.
If you didn’t have sausage rolls and beans when you were growing up then I pity your childhood! A lunch from the gods.
Is it ok in a roti, chapatti or paratha though coz I do that
Zackers ordering 2 sausage pasties
Cankles-McJeggings God no. Roti, Naan, Paratha, shouldn’t be anywhere near rice. They’re meant for gravy, kebabs, and “sabji” dishes.
Anything flies with folks who take in pride sandwiches filled with french fries and ketchup. So I mean… hahaha.

Haha I’ve failed miserably. I did it last week infact.
Lamb Biriani a bit of chickpea curry and some chicken balti all wrapped up in a roti
Have to say it was fucking immense too!
Cankles-McJeggings That doesn’t sound half bad to be fair. But ideally, it should be biryani + gravy + raita, and roti + chicken balti. Not some heathen mish mash of it all in one roll.
The chickpea curry should really go with a puri/battura, but it’s acceptable if you have it with the roti or even mix it up with the biryani (though that’s not really purist).

What is your definition of gravy?
I don’t feel quite so bad now. I wasnt under any illusion it was acceptable it’s just the fastest vehicle to get it all into the hole. They all complemented one another too somehow.
What would you use a paratha with ? And what is the correct use for a naan? Seems like there are lots of rules. In blighty on a Friday night there are no rules Youd probably look something like this
