Pilton...I mean Glasto' Festival
jonattonyeah We’re not the target demographic anymore.
Nail on head. Fetivals are primarily for young people, of which we are no longer.
mono-stereo Nah, not Glastonbury - it’s all gravy - old grippers everywhere and no-one gives a flying fuck. Definitely agree at a lot of others mind.
nicksneddon Correct. I priced it up a few years back and it was mad. Pretty much the whole of the western USA has a ‘Burning Man’ price hike on any hire vehicle that weekend, throw in the flights, hotels either side and it became one expensive party.
Along_the_Wire Yeah it’s the exception to the rule, but even Glastonbury seems to be aimed at da yoof in terms of headliners.
mono-stereo yeah, but there’s so much stuff on elsewhere for the older lot. Still gutted about missing Paul Heaton.
mono-stereo but even Glastonbury seems to be aimed at da yoof in terms of headliners.
Paul McCartney and Diana Ross are “aimed at da yoof”?!

hugopal Was thinking more Katy Perry, Miley Cyrus, Billie Eilish etc they’ve had on recently.
The age range at Glastonbury is 6 months to 90 years old.
And for once I’m being serious.
Digweed shared a bit of his set on his Instagram, he seemed well happy with it. Hopefully he airs it on a future Transitions.
Played Audion - mouth to mouth
Just needed to crank it up!
Heno Apparently he had the sound police all over him - The Glade was heavily targeted - it was annoying as there were stupidly loud sound systems really near bye and all over the site. I think he did the right thing with Mouth to Mouth though in context of the rest of his set - it was better by the speakers.
Heno was it the Carl Craig remix?
Couldn’t believe he played Mouth to Mouth, I’ve always loved it, didn’t think it was Digweed’s bag of chips I must say.

Mouth to Mouth is an absolute monster for a festival. Anything else….not so much.
15 years old, too. Like Twilo-era Diggers playing something from the early/mid ’80’s. Fuck that timeline.
Along_the_Wire in 19 the glade in the forest was absolutely perfect sound wise, we had been in the temple then got to digweed for the last hour and we’re right in front of the sound desk, met some great people and had good craic during the set, last track was really familiar
Was the original mix of mouth to mouth
I thought it was a little out of place the last track.
The set overall was absolutely brilliant though, one of the best I’ve heard him play, so much fun.
